Introduction

Welcome to Library App (referred to as "we", "our", or "us"). We operate as a SaaS CRM and subscription billing platform designed to help admins manage study halls, private reading libraries, and coworking spaces. This privacy statement details the types of information we process and how we secure it.

1. Information We Collect

To run our membership logs, CRM features, and automated billing, we process the following information:

  • Account Credentials: Email addresses and verification OTPs for standard email login.
  • Google Profile Info: When you choose to authenticate via Google Sign-In, we access your name, email address, and profile picture to set up your account.
  • Member and CRM Profiles: Student names, phone numbers, membership details (start/end dates), study desk numbers, and locker status logged by the library administrators.
  • Financial Metrics: Summaries of sales invoices and expense items logged directly by your library administrator to display dashboard analytics.

2. Device Permissions Used

To support its core design, the Library App requests the following system permission:

Network / Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET): Required to synchronize offline-cached membership check-ins, process subscription status logs, authenticate users, and fetch statistics from our backend database.

Our application does not request camera feeds, geographic location access, contacts list access, or hardware Bluetooth channels, ensuring a secure and lightweight profile.

3. Offline Cache and Local Storage

Library App incorporates an offline-first architecture using local Hive database caching. When you are offline:

  • Member logs, updates, and transaction details are stored locally on your device in secure app-sandboxed directories.
  • These records are automatically synced with our central MongoDB database once an active internet connection is detected.

4. Third-Party Integrations

We work with trusted services to deliver key functions:

  • Google Sign-In: For quick and secure authentication. Google's data handling is governed by Google’s own privacy policies.
  • Cloud Service Providers: Secure databases (MongoDB, Redis) hosted on production-ready servers with encrypted token keys.

5. Security of Your Data

We implement strict industry safeguards to protect your records:

  • All data transmitted between the app and the backend server is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS protocol.
  • Sensitive auth tokens are safely isolated in Android KeyStore / iOS Keychain via Flutter Secure Storage.
  • Backend payloads are parsed through Zod schema validation to shield databases against unauthorized access or injection attacks.

6. Account & Data Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and remove all your data permanently from our active databases, you can submit a request directly through our portal:

👉 Request Account Deletion: You can request account and data deletion by filling out our Account Deletion Request Form. Once submitted, our administrator will verify and delete your profile, active memberships, and transaction logs from the database within 7 business days.
